Molongo Gorge Nature Reserve covers a 15.5 kilometre stretch of the Molongo River, between Sutton Road and Burbong Bridge, near Queanbeyan.

Molonglo Gorge Recreation Area is great for swimming, fishing, walking and picnicking.

Take the self-guided walk along the gorge, on a trail following the river for 3 kilometers, to the Blue Tiles picnic area.

The Molonglo Gorge Forest Recreation Area is accessible from Sutton Road.
