BIG Live proudly presents the world premiere of The Great Gatsby: A Jazz Ballet Odyssey, coming to Canberra Theatre Centre.
This dazzling world premiere reimagines F. Scott Fitzgerald’s timeless classic with full theatrical spectacle. Directed and choreographed by Joel Burke, with narration arranged by James Millar, Gatsby’s story is brought to life like never before.
The score blends masterpieces such as Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, James P Johnson’s The Charleston alongside bold new compositions by award-winning artist, Jason Fernandez alongside Dominic Cabusi.
On stage, some of the world’s greatest dancers will deliver a genre-defying fusion of ballet, tap, and jazz. Expect nothing less than breathtaking choreography, bedazzled costumes, spectacular sets and the glitz and glamour of one of the most famous stories of all time.
