Crossley Bridge Sofala Campsite

Step away from city life and camp out beneath the stars along the Turon River. Right on the edge of the historic gold mining town of Sofala, the Crossley Bridge campsite is a Crown Land free camp within a five-minute walk of the Sofala town centre. With plenty of flat space available for tents and caravans, this site is a local favourite for star gazing and exploration.

Caravans may have difficulty entering the campground with a sharp turn at the entrance and a short dirt track to the main camping area. May not be caravan accessible in bad weather, or with recent rain. No bathroom facilities are available at the campsite but public toilets in Sofala are within easy walking distance.

Fire pits and bins are available, please check local fire restrictions before lighting fires, and ensure all fires have been extinguished when leaving the site.
