Canowindra Showground Campsite

The Canowindra Showground offers peaceful and friendly camping facilities for travellers to the area.

The following facilities are available. Hot showers, toilets, toilets and showers for people with a disability, powered and non-powered sites, mobile phone coverage, refuse bins, large rig sites, caravan sites, drive–through sites (so vans and vehicles can remain hooked together), and tent sites.

The Showground is pet-friendly and is a hot-air balloon launch site.

It is adjacent to the Golf Course and Club with an excellent restaurant, and to the Canowindra sporting complex.

The Showground is a stroll from parks, heritage main street, shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, clubs, and museums.

No fires are allowed.

Online bookings and payments can be made for the months May – March through their online booking form.

April (Balloon Festival) online bookings and payments must be via the Canowindra International Balloon Challenge website. Otherwise, visitors are requested to contact them before arriving to confirm availability.
