The Pacific Ocean is just to the east, with many beaches to choose from, including Blacksmiths and Caves Beach. To the west, Lake Macquarie, home to the Belmont 16’s Sailing Club and Lake Macquarie Yacht Club, is an ideal spot to kayak, stand-up paddle board or motorised watercraft. A fabulous beach, lake and ocean fishing with boat parking and a bait and tackle store is 50 metres away. There are many bistros and restaurants close with a choice of clubs: Marks Point Sports Club, RSL Clubs and Belmont Golf and Bowls Club.
