Wine Country Retreat is a 60-minute drive from Newcastle, only a few minutes off the Hunter Expressway and just 2-hours from Sydney.
Their rustic, lodge-style accommodation has 16 renovated rooms, each offering a private ensuite, comfortable bedding, A/C heating/cooling, a car park and deck. With flexible bedding configurations, they can accommodate up to 40 people.
Facilities include a fully licenced bar and lounge with a great selection of books, puzzles and games, a 20-metre outdoor magnesium pool, weight room, cedarwood wet sauna, tyre swing as well as fire pit and complementary car parking.
Make friends with the friendly furry/feathered rescue animals, living at the property, toast marshmallows by the fire or test yourself on the retro Space Invaders machine. Grab a book and chill out on the hammock – so much to do – or do nothing much at all!
The flexible meeting space is perfect for corporate groups, and includes AV equipment, large-screen smart TVs, ceiling-mounted digital projector and screen, whiteboard, Sono speakers and complimentary Wi-Fi. Social groups have a choice of scenic spots to hold their event or gathering on the grounds and the 60-seat dining room or 20×15 metre permanent floor for a marquee is ideal for a wedding reception or larger gathering.
