Freaks of Nature Retreat

Freaks of Nature Retreat provides a luxury safari tent camping experience in an environmentally sustainable setting. Set on a 24-hectare rural property located on the Snowy River, 10 minutes from Jindabyne town. 

There are two accommodation options:

The super cute Nakaza tent is their riverside option with a separate all-weather lounge and kitchen space. The kitchen has a stove and oven, a barbecue, a coffee machine, and a dishwasher.  The tent is 3 x 2.5 metres inside with a queen bed with quality linen and bath towels provided. There is a comfortable verandah and lounge area.  You have your own private shower, but the waterless composting toilet is potentially shared with others.

The Mary Kingsley is a premium-sized luxury offering set high on the property with sweeping views over the Snowy River and mountains.  The tent is 5 x 5 metres inside, and has a four-post queen bed with quality linen and bath towels provided.  There is a private verandah and lounge area, kitchenette, barbecue, coffee machine, dishwasher, and shower with sweeping views and a waterless composting toilet.

Both areas have a fire pit, which is subject to NSW RFS fire restrictions.
