The Violet Farm

Our property is located in Tumut Plains at a nursery that specialises in African Tulips. Enjoy the serene landscape with uninterrupted views of near hills, whilst relaxing under the shade of an Elm tree. Wander through the established gardens or relax and watch the neighbouring cattle wander through their paddocks. The house on the property is 120 years old and was once a school that has now been converted. The property also has some of the most amazing sunsets on offer. We are only a few minutes by car from the beautiful township of Tumut where you can access the Tumut River and Blowering Dam for all your water activities. There is also a great brewery for food and drinks, a nearby by mountain bike park and we are not too far from Adelong Falls. The property is pet friendly but please ensure your pets are under control at all times. Campfires are welcome in the firepit provided, as long as there is no restrictions in place. We also have firewood available.
