Country Carriage Bed and Breakfast is a unique, peaceful and private rural retreat with a choice of two fully self-contained train carriages on a fifth and sixth-generation family farm located just off Burley Griffin Way, 20 minutes west of Temora, a great location to explore the Riverina.

The Overlander provides boutique adult accommodation for up to five guests with three separate sleeping compartments – one queen bed, one double bed and one single bed. Ideal for two couples travelling together. Furnished with family antiques.

The City Circle provides spacious open-plan accommodation for a couple with a king-size bed. An outdoor bath, billiard table, chess set, board games, glossy magazines and books are special extra touches.

Both carriages have reverse cycle heating/cooling, quality linen, bathrobes, towels and toiletries, flat-screen TV, DVD player, free DVDs, Weber BBQ, firepit, and firewood.

Whether you are looking for a quiet one-night stopover or a longer stay to explore the Riverina, they offer country hospitality and all the comforts of home. They are a family farm growing cereal crops and running Australian White sheep and a few horses, including their Clydesdale mares Bonnie and Bessie. Enjoy star-studded nights, the beautiful sunrise and sunset, the tranquility, the abundant birdlife, and explore the rambling country garden, the extensive collection of early horse drawn farming equipment and the Pioneers Cottage housing family memorabilia.

The Overlander Carriage

Fully self-contained train carriage 24 metres in length comprising lounge room, kitchen/dining area, three separate sleeping compartments (one queen, one double and two single bunk beds). Shower and two toilets. Reverse cycle heating and cooling. Flat screen television with DVD, radio/CD, bar fridge, microwave, electric frypan and electric skillet, tea and coffee making facilities. Crockery, cutlery, bed linen and towels supplied. Decorated and furnished with a selection of family antiques.

Three options for breakfast are available: a continental breakfast hamper, provisions for a continental and cooked breakfast or a continental breakfast and cooked breakfast delivered to your carriage.

Evening meals are available by prior arrangement. Special dietary requirements can be catered for on request.

The City Circle Carriage

A renovated Sydney passenger train providing spacious accommodation for one couple or a single person. This is an open plan carriage with a bedroom containing a king-size bed, full-size bathroom, large living area which has a slate billiard table, dining area and kitchen/bar area.
