Fleece, Flock and Fibre Farmstay

Spidey, the sheep CEO, will welcome guests into his paddock and introduce them to his friends and associates.

There are great places to eat out nearby, or guests can stay in and use the well-equipped kitchen, which includes a stove and refrigerator. The personal courtyard features a gas BBQ and outdoor seating for four.

For those seeking a weekend getaway from Sydney, the farm is accessible via the Blue Mountains and Oberon, with a stop at the magnificent Mayfield Gardens. It is just over an hour down the road through the Abercrombie Gorge. The return trip can be made via Crookwell and Goulburn.

Railway enthusiasts will appreciate that the farm is literally at the end of the line. Although the Taralga branch line is closed, remnants of the railway, including platforms, earthworks, and the Station Master’s house, remain.
