Billabong Camp offers an immersive overnight experience, close to the Zoo’s Lion Pride Lands precinct. You’ll hear the roar of the Lions at night as you’re nestled in your cozy heavy duty canvas tent (all set up for you), located by a picturesque billabong.
The Billabong Camp package includes one night accommodation, guided walking tours, two day zoo entry, barbecue dinner, breakfast and more.

Guests are accommodated in canvas tents located around a picturesque billabong in the zoo’s Australian wildlife area. The facilities include a communal dining area and amenities block.
Tents are three by three metres, made from heavy-duty canvas with a solid floor, and can sleep up to three people (two stretcher beds and one sleeping mat).
Groups of four are allocated a campsite which has two tents adjacent to each other. Groups of four or more will be allocated campsites/tents based on sleeping requirements (confirmed at the time of booking).
Stretcher beds/ mattresses and linen are included in the cost of stay.
Guests can bring their own linen or hire sleeping kits.
