Tours are offered both within National Parks and off park with a focus on adventure, education and sustainability.

They also have a bookable education trailer that is packed full of games and resources that can attend private events, community events, caravan parks and festivals.

Their large selection of tours include cultural tours, guided bushwalks, Junior Ranger adventures, canoeing, coastal exploration, wildlife encounters, nature art and historical site visits.

Meet your NSW Nationals Parks guide at Narooma Bar Rocks to see Australian and New Zealand fur seals in the wild. You’ll watch as they navigate the ocean and coastline with ease. Your guide will give you invaluable insight into the daily lives of these marine mammals. You’ll learn how these amazing animals survive extreme temperatures, travel great distances and avoid predators.

As you explore further, you’ll get an insight into the local history, geology and culture of the area.

Narooma Bar Rock Lookout is also the perfect vantage point to spot whales during their spring migration. With a bit of patience and luck during the months of mid-September to November, you could witness majestic humpback whales performing stunning displays of power and agility as they pass by the coast. You’ll also learn how to identify different types of whales, including the endangered southern right whale.

Don’t forget to bring binoculars and wear weather-appropriate clothing.

Join an Aboriginal NSW National Parks guide for a traditional weaving workshop at Hobart Beach campground in Bournda National Park or Mystery Bay in Eurobodalla National Park.

Learn how to weave with grasses, reeds and natural materials. After you’ve honed your skills, you’ll have the opportunity to weave your own souvenir to take home with you.

As you explore your creative side, your guide will share traditional techniques used to weave baskets, carry bags and other items for daily use. You’ll discover how these ancient skills and practices carry a strong cultural connection.

You’ll love this fun-filled and family-friendly tour that brings explorers between 5 and 16 years old closer to nature.

This exciting and educational tour takes place in Eden, Dalmeny and Broulee during school holidays. It is also bookable all year round for groups and school programs.

Become a Junior Ranger for the day and take part in a scavenger hunt and use clues to learn about Australia’s fascinating natural world. Gain new skills, learn about our native animals and get up close to nature while exploring our beautiful beaches and coastal bush habitat.

You’ll learn how to use a map and compass in an orienteering activity as you discover the natural treasures of Bungo Beach and surrounds. Get creative and design a piece of nature art using beach and bush materials or continue exploring this beautiful natural setting.

Your guide will also have a variety of interesting finds to share as well such as a real (taxidermy) goanna, penguin, baby wombat or echidna.

Head over to Merimbula Lake Boardwalk, near Bournda National Park, for fun in the wetlands. You’ll explore the estuaries (where the river meets the sea) and get a close look at the small creatures that call this environment home.

Join your NSW National Parks guide at low tide and venture along the boardwalk and down onto the sand. Here you’ll explore a complex mangrove ecosystem that’s teeming with life. Play a fun game of boardwalk bingo as you discover the variety of creatures that live in the estuaries and different tidal zones.

Remember to wear enclosed shoes that are okay to get muddy.

Explore the fascinating whaling history of the Eden area on a guided tour of Davidson Whaling Station Historic Site. Learn about the area’s legendary killer whales, ‘Old Tom’ and how local Aboriginal people and the Davidson family conducted whaling operations.

We’ll share stories of life at the station from over 200 years ago.

Enjoy a picnic or explore the Inlet or nearby Boyds Tower. You’ll gain an appreciation for the natural and historical aspects that make this a truly special place.

Please bring a water bottle and hat. It’s a good idea to wear sunscreen and bring a jumper in case of cool weather.

First lit in 1883, Green Cape Lighthouse is the southernmost and second tallest lighthouse in NSW. Led by a knowledgeable National Parks guide, you’ll discover the unique architecture and fascinating history of the lighthouse. Uncover what life was like for lighthouse keepers living in this remote stretch of coast with their families.

Climb the 116 stairs of the lighthouse for spectacular panoramic views over Disaster Bay and the rugged coastline.

Spring is the height of the whale migration and Green Cape is the ideal vantage point to spot them. Whales are often seen very close to Green Cape, offering stunning displays of power and agility as they pass. Our guide will have powerful binoculars on hand, and all the whale facts and knowledge you’ll need to make this whale watching experience the highlight of your holidays.

Visiting outside of whale season? Your guide will take you on a guided visit to Ly-ee Moon Cemetery along the Light to Light Walk.
