Middle Beach – Merimbula

Natural Attractions

Merimbula’s Middle Beach is a hidden gem of the Sapphire Coast. With high forested slopes, spectacular cliff faces where the colours of the rocks change with the sun and pristine rock pools to explore – it feels like your own private paradise.

The beach is approximately 500 metres long and is accessed by a steep track with stairs. It is bordered by rocky outcrops that promise an interesting snorkel or a few hours of fishing.

Middle Beach is unpatrolled and subject to strong tides, so take care and always check conditions.

The stairs to Middle Beach can be accessed via the carpark on Cliff Street, near Yarai Street.
