The Bowerhouse Community Reuse Centre – nestled at the Raleigh Waste Management facility on Short Cut Road, this creative reuse hub serves the Bellingen Shire community with a sustainable flair. The centre operates as both a reuse shop and a workshop venue.

The Bowerhouse hosts hands-on “Fix It” workshops—ranging from home furniture and basic plumbing to rapid bike repairs—empowering locals to upcycle, repair, and extend the life of everyday items.

Adding a quirky local touch, the site is also home to the whimsical sculpture of the Big Bowerbird, bringing unexpected art and a smile to the recycling scene.
