Bourke Boat Ramp

Landmarks and Buildings

One of the most popular locations for locals and travellers alike is the Boat Ramp just upstream from the Historic North Bourke Bridge.

Boasting interconnected sand bars, enormous gum trees, sweeping bends, rock bars and plenty of space, the boat ramp is a great spot for day trippers wanting to get a close look at the paddleboat Jandra as she sweeps around the bend and off under the historic lift-span bridge. Of course, it’s also the ideal place if you plan on taking your own tour of the Darling.

The sandy beach area around the boat ramp is popular with locals for water skiing and having a fun day at the river. The boat ramp area also has barbeques and shaded picnic tables.
