The newly constructed asphalt Pump track in Leumeah is suitable for riders of BMX bikes, mountain bikes, skateboards and scooters. The pump track includes a series of jumps, banked turns and transfer options for riders. The pump track has various difficulty loops available to suit people of all abilities.
For those who don’t know what a pump track is, it’s a looped sequence of rollers and berms (swoopy, banked turns). The ‘pump’ part is the pushing-down and pulling-up action. This helps propel the riders around the looped track. It provides a thrilling experience with an up-and-down feeling that is similar to that of a rollercoaster, but on a micro scale.
