Woolgoolga Beach

Natural Attractions

Treat the family to a day by the sea at Woolgoolga Beach and Headland. Recently voted Australia’s Best Mainland Beach for 2025 this stunning location is not to be missed!

Woolgoolga, also known as Woopi, is renowned for its swimming, surfing, fishing, diving and snorkelling. There’s a grassy reserve with a small park nearby with play equipment and plenty of shade for a picnic as well as plenty of cafes and eateries across the road on the main street.

This beach is patrolled by Lifeguards every day from the September school holidays to the end of April school holidays.

Up on the headland, you find scenic walking tracks and jaw-dropping coastal views that stretch to Yuraygir National Park and the dunes and rolling hills of the Coffs Coast and hinterland.
