Narooma Bar Beach South

Natural Attractions

Apart from its postcard perfect presentation, Bar Beach South in Narooma is one of the safest beaches for children to learn to snorkel and swim along the Eurobodalla’s coastline. Its naturally enclosed and protected position near the mouth of the Wagonga Inlet is further enhanced by the break-wall at its northern end, where a swimming net is located, clear of the currents.

Facilities near Bar Beach South are at Apex Park and include a picnic area, toilets, a large carpark, children’s play equipment, a boat ramp, and barbecues. It is not uncommon to spot seals near the boat ramp and fish cleaning tables.
At the western end of the picnic area, you will find a boardwalk that leads you to Narooma around Wagonga Inlet.
