Badgery’s Lookout

National Parks and Reserves

Badgery’s Lookout bestows an inspiring view of the Shoalhaven River. The lookout is located just outside the small village of Tallong, which is seven kilometres east of Marulan and is home to two magnificent lookouts, Badgery’s and Long Point.

To access Badgery’s Lookout, turn right onto Caoura Road in Tallong (at the general store on the corner) and follow the road to Badgerys Road. Follow this for four kilometres to the end, where you will find Badgery’s Lookout.

Badgerys Spur walking track in Morton National Park from Badgery’s Lookout offers a steep and challenging hike on the edge of Ettrema Wilderness Area, finishing on the banks of the Shoalhaven River.

A variety of bird species and other wildlife can be sighted around Badgery’s Lookout including Rockwarbler, Bell Miner, White-winged Chough, Peregrine Falcon, and Brown, Yellow-rumped, Buff-rumped and Striated Thornbill.
