Upper Colo Reserve

Natural Attractions

If you are looking for a beautiful spot that offers a wilderness camping experience look no further than the Upper Colo Reserve. This reserve is perfect for nature-loving families or anyone seeking a peaceful getaway surrounded by the Wollemi National Park and beside the pretty Colo River. The Upper Colo Reserve is popular with both visitors and locals.

Campsite numbers are limited so if you are interested in camping bookings are required and can be made by contacting Hawkesbury City Council. The reserve is open all year round. Basic toilets and shower facilities are available. You may bring your dog, however, they must be kept on a lead.

The Motto for the Colo Wilderness is: Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints. To avoid disappointment, bookings must be made online before arrival as places are limited.
