Hilltops Architecture Trail

Historical Sites and Heritage Locations

History is built into the fabric of the Hilltops region.

Follow this trail through country towns and small villages, admiring colonial architecture, grand homes, cemeteries, pubs and antique stores. The trail runs through Rugby, Boorowa, Murringo, Koorawatha, Monteagle, Young, Wombat and Harden Murrumburrah.

A highlight is Iandra Castle, a private Elizabethan-style home with 57 rooms and a tall tower. It is open to the public on select days throughout the year.
