Owner/operator Miles Niddrie is a Professional Level Two Surfing Australia accredited coach. Having surfed the Newcastle area for more than 40 years, he has already introduced plenty of beginners to the wonderful lifestyle of surfing.
Learn to Surf Newcastle offers group lessons with mobile locations to provide more personal surfing instruction. Private and more advanced lessons are available too. School holidays 4 lesson programs with ages 5-12years Surfgroms 13-18years Surfteens. There are also adult and HerWave programs too!
Surfing is a great lifestyle, fun and fitness at the same time. The waves are always different and it’s great to get out there and enjoy them with friends or family. Becoming a surfer takes practice, so getting some help will speed up the learning curve.
Services
Surfing takes a while to master and you will always learn new things from your surfs – just working out when and where to go takes experience. Travelling to find the right waves is part of the fun of surfing, but if you learn from an experienced coach you will know where to go.
Lessons run all year round including winter and wetsuits are provided for your comfort. Times and locations vary around the tides and surf conditions on the day.
