Wangi Wangi Point

National Parks and Reserves

This reserve is primarily a passive recreation area with the walking trails being designed to protect the environment, while at the same time providing an opportunity to enjoy the variety of vegetation types and visual experiences found in the reserve. The two lookouts enable extensive views of the lake.

The walks meander through a glorious bushland of wattles, coastal banksia and orchids, leading to lookouts offering vistas of Pulbah Island. Keep an eye out for green sea turtles and dolphins below and sea eagles above.

This patch of paradise is also home to squirrel gliders, kangaroos, lorikeets and the threatened pied oystercatcher.
