Western Escarpment Walking Track – Malabar Headland National Park

National Parks and Reserves

Get back to nature on Western Escarpment walking track in Sydney’s Malabar Headland National Park, near Maroubra.

This short 1.15 kilometre walking track links to the Boora Point Walking Track and provides a direct connection between South Maroubra Beach and Malabar Beach.

Boasting an abundance of bird life, wildflowers and coastal views, you can also spot migrating Humpback Whales or Seals during June and July.

Western Escarpment Walking Track offers a year-round alternative to Boora Point Walking Track, which closes when ANZAC Rifle Range is in use.
