Valley Outdoors is an experienced team of outdoor professionals based in Gangagruwan, Kangaroo Valley. Based halfway between Sydney and Canberra, they deliver unique tailored outdoor experiences with a touch of luxury at a range of locations in the Kangaroo Valley, across the Shoalhaven Coast and further afield.

They offer a range of accessible, inclusive adventures in the natural world, including canoeing, abseiling, hiking and camping. Specialising in private small group tours from four to 40 people, with experiences lasting from a few hours to a few days.

Whether paddling through dramatic gorges, bouncing through playful rapids, discovering hidden forests or delighting in chance encounters with native wildlife, their local guides unlock the hidden wonders of this spectacular region. Abseiling and Canoeing Adventure Day

A fantastic abseiling and canoeing day for beginners.

Learn the fundamentals of abseiling in the morning with abseils ranging in height from three metres to over 20 metres. You get to do lots of abseils as you hone your technique and gain confidence.

Includes a beautiful bushwalk beside the river to the abseiling location. After a delicious lunch, you’ll head off in premium canoes to explore some of the lesser-known spots on the Kangaroo River. Towering sandstone cliffs, hidden pristine waterfalls and swimming holes, an abundance and array of wildlife: the most scenic flatwater paddling venue in Australia.

Your tour will involve expending a moderate level of energy while paddling, but having ample time for relaxing throughout the journey pausing and reflecting on the wonders around you. Especially marvellous in the depths of winter when you finish around sunset. A full day in the bush – renew your spirit and be nourished in nature!
