Gondwana Coast Fossil Walk

Natural Attractions

Did you know Ulladulla Harbour is surrounded by fossils up to 270 million years old?

Take a two-hour guided tour on horizontal rock platforms to learn about the geological history of this continent and see the sharply preserved features of marine fossils. Guided tours are only available in NSW school holidays and are subject to tide changes.

An exciting and enjoyable activity for visitors and local residents from as young as five years to more than 80 years.

The Gondwana Coast Fossil Walk Incorporated is an enthusiastic group of local volunteers dedicated to promoting the rich geological heritage of the Shoalhaven.

What to Wear – Sensible protective non-slip footwear is best. Comfortable walking shoes, boots or sneakers. Sun protection, water bottles and snack food are also a good idea.
