Join an astrophysicist as you embark on an awe-inspiring space journey under the dark skies of Jervis Bay, far away from the city lights. Here, where the stars meet the sea, you can experience laser-guided naked-eye astronomy the beach, with the soothing sound of waves.

You will learn some tips and tricks on navigation using the stars, the fabulous Milky Way, satellites like the International Space Station and Tiangong Space Station, and shooting stars.

Experience state-of-the-art telescope and astronomy binoculars viewing (depending on the time of the year): the moon and its craters and seas, Saturn’s rings, the moons of Jupiter, Mars, Venus, the Orion Nebula, star clusters, double and triple stars, and deep space objects such as galaxies.

The experience will conclude with a Question and Answer session with an astrophysicist and a complimentary night photography souvenir will be taken at the end of the tour.

Since the tour will be on the beach, it’s always an opportunity to check if you can see the Bioluminescence!

Embark on an awe-inspiring space journey with an astrophysicist in the dark skies of Jervis Bay, away from the city lights. Where the stars meet the sea, your Space Journey includes laser-guided naked-eye astronomy at sunset on Nelsons beach with waves sounds, tips and hacks on navigation using the stars, our fabulous Milky Way, satellites, the International Space Station, Tiangong Space station, and shooting stars.

You’ll also experience constellation storytelling, star signs, Orion, antique constellations, history of constellations, and constellations in other cultures. Additionally, you’ll have the chance for state-of-the-art telescope viewing on Plantation Point (depending on the time of the year): the Moon and its craters and seas, Saturn’s rings, the Moons of Jupiter, Mars, Venus, the Orion Nebula, star clusters, double and triple stars, and deep space objects such as galaxies.

You’ll also enjoy astronomy binocular viewing and a Q&A session with an astrophysicist. And as a special keepsake, you’ll receive a complimentary night photography souvenir to keep forever.
