Historical Sites and Heritage Locations

The Tadeusz Kosciuszko Monument was a bicentennial gift from the Federal Council of Polish Associations in Australia to the town of Cooma. Located at the northern entrance to Cooma the monument commemorates the discovery and naming of Mount Kosciuszko, and the contribution of Polish settlers to the Snowy Mountains Scheme.
