Not far from Royal National Park Visitor Centre, Currwawong Flat picnic area is a great spot to while away a relaxing day, or an ideal pit-stop on a day trip whilst exploring this famous park.

Pick your spot under the shade of the she-oaks, spark up a barbecue and tuck into a delicious lunch as you soak up the scenic river views. Hire a canoe from the famous Audley Weir boat hire and paddle along the tranquil waters of this picturesque waterway.

If you’re feeling adventurous, there’s a large network of walking tracks throughout the park. Nearby Uloola walking track takes in the surrounding heathlands. Or if you’re feeling indulgent, it’s only a short stroll to Weir Cafe for a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner.
