Sydney Harbour Kayaks’ new sea kayaking location in Darling Harbour in partnership with the Australian National Maritime Museum.
The tour launching location is between the HMAS Vampire and HMAS Onslow at the ‘Action Stations’ war-ship pavilion.
A series of kayaking experiences will allow you to see Sydney Harbour up close, with tours from Harbour ‘sunrisers’, Darling Harbour explorers, night-time tours for the Vivid Festival and fully customised private tours.

The sea kayaks used, are Australian-designed and manufactured by Mirage Sea Kayaks, they are high-end kevlar touring double kayaks, perfect for safe and comfortable paddling.

Wake up to the beauty of one of the grandest harbours in the world.
Allow the professionals at Sydney Harbour Kayaks to guide you out to this ‘working’ harbour and set you up for experiencing Sydney from a completely new perspective.
These tours are an amazing experience early in the morning and you will be paddling in high-end double Mirage Sea Kayaks.
Depending on the conditions, you will set up the mandatory photo in front of the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House and Luna Park. You will then explore several of the main bays in this very special area.
Of course, you will stop at the Kayak Cafe for a lovely light breakfast – hot tea/coffee, some fresh fruit and pastries.
Sydney’s Main Harbour is a very busy, working harbour, and there are many large vessels.
This very special tour is conducted in stable ocean-going sea kayaks, guided by experienced guides. The harbour can become very rough with lots of ferry wake.

The Darling Harbour Explorer is a cruisy 90-minute sea kayaking tour that takes you out into Sydney’s exciting harbour.
You will learn about some of the amazing vessels within the fleet of the Australian National Maritime Museum; Cruise close to naval warships, and many other iconic vessels including HMB Endeavour, MV Krait, HMAS Vampire & Onslow and the James Craig, a 19th Century Tall Ship.
Then paddle out of Darling Harbour towards the beautiful main harbour, passing Barangaroo and the thousands of different vessels that make ‘working harbour’ so special. Depending on the conditions, you will get some views of the Harbour Bridge.
There are plenty of great locations for photos, and you paddle in very stable, deluxe double sea kayaks.

The main paddling area of this tour is within Sydney Harbour (a beautiful offshoot of Sydney Harbour), and depending on the conditions of the day, you can explore many amazing places.
During your two-hour adventure, you will explore some of the wonders of Sydney Harbour, including great views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Enjoy the beautiful evening light of the amazing Harbour; an amazing time for fantastic photographs.
Departing from their base at the Australian National Maritime Museum and paddle out past Balmain, then across to Me-Mel (Goat Island) and over to Blue’s Point where you can get some great photos. You then paddle back across the Harbour and over to Barangaroo, in the lovely light and then back to their Museum home.
Sydney Harbour Kayaks can also accommodate a very special occasion, like a birthday celebration or your anniversary.
