The Alpaca Farm Experience is a fun hands-on farm experience for animal lovers of all ages and those who are interested in improving the environment. Join the free range herd and watch them closely interact with each other and jostle for attention. Hand feed and observe their cheeky behaviour!
It’s an opportunity to learn all about alpacas and the Australian alpaca industry. The activity includes an informative talk on the origins and history of alpacas, why they are so good for the environment, their uses and Alpaca animal husbandry.
You also see alpaca products from raw fleece to finished product, or as they say, from paddock to product.
Make sure you bring your camera as these adorable animals are extremely photogenic and it’s a chance to create some cherished memories that will always bring a smile to your face! As they sit at 1000 metres above sea level, it is cooler in Crookwell. It is recommended to include a jacket and wear suitable closed in shoes.
