In 1819 Dr Charles Throsby explored the region discovering Cuttiangullanlong Creek now known as Reedy Creek. Irish and Scottish settlers arriving after 1837 bringing their agricultural skills in growing potatoes, sheep, cattle and wheat. The history that tells the story is visible in the beautiful buildings that still stand today. Laggan is situated just 10 minutes from Crookwell and 40minutes from Goulburn.
