Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens

Customised

The botanic garden is community funded and operated. It is not a council or government funded garden.

Development proceeds according to funds, which are generally sourced through grants. They rely heavily on donations and their fundraising campaigns.

As a community funded garden, it is for the community to use and they welcome community involvement and support.

Set across 13.5 hectares, they’ve been growing a beautiful cool-climate garden since opening in 2013. With a mix of native and exotic areas, there’s something to enjoy in every season. Be inspired by their plantings as you stroll through the gardens.
