Development proceeds according to funds, which are generally sourced through grants. They rely heavily on donations and their fundraising campaigns.
As a community funded garden, it is for the community to use and they welcome community involvement and support.
Set across 13.5 hectares, they’ve been growing a beautiful cool-climate garden since opening in 2013. With a mix of native and exotic areas, there’s something to enjoy in every season. Be inspired by their plantings as you stroll through the gardens.

Book a guided walking tour in the gardens – available Monday to Friday. E-buggy also available.

Take in the fresh air and open spaces, and enjoy something special in every season – from vibrant blooms in spring and summer, to the rich colours of autumn and striking bark textures and winter flowers in the cooler months.

Refunds for walking tours will be issued for cancellations made up to 24 hours before the scheduled date.
