Robertson Heritage Walk

Landmarks and Buildings

Enjoy the many facets of Robertson by ambling along the leisurely Heritage Walk. Starting from the Information Centre, located in the middle of town near the entrance to Hampden Park, read the on-site map to pick out which route you would like to take and scan the QR code so you can keep learning en route. Points of interest include the Old Post Office, which was completed in 1896 and damaged in the earthquake of 1961, and the Old Robertson Cheese Factory, which dates back to 1936, as well as the town bakery, bank and churches.

Before setting off on the walk, take a moment at the Information Centre to look at the Rocks Rain Roots artwork by Peter Campbell and the garden surrounding designed by Dan Thomas Garden Designs.
