Mini Farmers

Calling all young explorers and animal enthusiasts! Summerland Farm’s Mini Farmers Workshop is a two hour, interactive farm adventure where kids get to experience the joy of life on a working farm.

From the moment they arrive, mini farmers will dive into a fun-filled session of hands-on activities. They’ll start by meeting and grooming our friendly guinea pigs – brushing, cuddling, and even preparing a tasty snack plate for their furry new friends. Then it’s off to visit our gentle cows, where kids can help feed and brush them while learning about their care.

The fun continues with creative and educational farm tasks like designing enrichment toys for guinea pigs, learning about composting and worms, planting seedlings, and harvesting fresh vegetables right from the garden.

To top it all off, kids will hop aboard our Immersive Farm Tour for a behind-the-scenes tour of our beautiful working farm – learning about macadamia and avocado harvesting along the way!

It’s a session full of connection with nature, animals, and sustainable farming practices – all designed to inspire and educate the next generation of little farmers.
