X-Marathon Adventure Race

Embark on a thrilling new chapter as the X-Marathon adventure race takes on an exhilarating transformation, unfolding against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Macquarie.

X-Marathon is a classic adventure race, open for teams of two and four, since 2011. Three courses are on offer – Mini (4 hours), Half (12 hours) and Full (24 hours). You will navigate your way between checkpoints using a map and ca ompass only.

X-Marathon involves a non-stop navigation-based adventure race with plenty of mental and physical challenges for ultimate adventure racers.

This is a fully supported 24/12/4 hour adventure race for teams of four, premier category- Mixed; Female and Male categories. Three courses: Full – approximately 120 kilometres, Half – about 80 kilometres and Mini- about 25 kilometres. Disciplines: trekking, river and lake paddle (kayaking equipment is supplied), mountain biking -all navigation-based.
