Classes, Lessons, Workshops and Talks

13 Dec 2025 to 14 Dec 2025 Once Only Event

Immerse yourself in the traditional practice of twine weaving with Gumbaynggirr Weaver Lilly Clegg in this weekend weaving campout. Learn to weave your own adorable fish and sturdy vine fish trap while you soak up some cultural knowledge and yarn about the universe.

Daily weaving sessions will go from 10-2pm with a bush tucker walk to the beach Saturday at 3pm. The event is BYO food and drinks, and everyone is free to camp for the whole weekend and cook on the fire. The Cafe will be open for coffee and lunch.

And alas nature will always have her way If there is excess rain and the grounds are sodden, they will likely postpone or cancel and tickets will be refunded. They are excited to see you all there!
