Young and Region Farmers Markets

Young and Region Farmers Market invites visitors to discover a welcoming country experience in the heart of Young. Held on the first and third Saturday of each month, the market offers a charming mix of fresh produce, local plants, handmade goods and seasonal treats.

Visitors can browse a variety of stalls featuring everything from just-picked fruit and vegetables to handcrafted items such as knitted beanies and timber bird boxes, honey straight from the hive, live music and lots more. The range changes with the seasons, ensuring there is always something new to enjoy.

A highlight for many is the community-run barbecue, operated by the Young Lions Club on the first Saturday of each month. They serve up classic market brekkie fare like bacon and egg rolls, sausage sandwiches, and hot drinks. On all market days, you’ll still find tasty food options and a coffee van onsite, making sure no one goes hungry while browsing the stalls.

The market is set in Anderson Park, a green space located near the Young Visitor Information Centre. It provides a relaxed and convenient setting for locals and visitors alike to connect with the region’s producers and makers.
