Join MAC yapang for the exhibition launch of In Memory: Tom Gleghorn, celebrating the life and work of the late Lake Macquarie artist.
Author, broadcaster, and co-curator of Tom’s final survey exhibition, Scott Bevan, joins artist Christine Ross in conversation to reflect on Gleghorn’s practice, legacy, and lifelong connection to the lake.
Born and raised in Lake Macquarie, Gleghorn was mentored by Sir William Dobell and developed a distinctive practice shaped by the local landscape and light. He died in January, aged 100.
The exhibition draws from the MAC yapang Visual Arts Collection, showcasing key works across his career.
