Level 2: Intro To Garment Making

Advance your sewing skills by following a pattern to make your own shorts or pants.

The pattern they use comes in different lengths, choose to make short shorts, bermuda shorts, knee length, ankle length or full length

Their pattern sizing is from size six – 20, if you are on either end of this scale and would like to double-check our pattern will fit, you can measure your hips with a measuring tape, stand with heels apart and measure around the fullest part of the hip and bottom area all the way around. The minimum measurement for our pattern is a hip measurement of 88cm, or the largest is 128cm.

The pattern for the shorts is slightly more complex and a natural next step from our Sewing For Beginners class.
