Christmas in July Festival returns to The Rocks from 10–19 July 2026, transforming Sydney’s historic precinct into a glowing European-style winter village filled with snowfalls, fairy lights, mulled wine, live music and festive market magic.

Following a huge success last year, the free-entry festival once again invites visitors to wrap up warm and step into ten nights of winter celebration in the heart of The Rocks.

Across the precinct, traditional European-style wooden chalets line the sandstone laneways, showcasing more than 30 vendors offering artisan gifts, handmade creations, festive treats, winter drinks and curated food experiences inspired by classic Christmas markets across France, Germany and the Alps.

A returning highlight is Snow Lane in Kendall Lane, where snow falls beneath glowing fairy lights, surrounded by mulled wine bars, raclette, fondue, hot chocolates, desserts, fire pits and artisan shopping.

With immersive installations, roaming entertainment, festive music and cosy winter dining moments, the festival celebrates everything people love about the season warmth, connection and shared experiences in a uniquely Sydney setting.
