In partnership with Mawang Gaway, this Basketball NSW event is aimed to provide an opportunity for members of the community to try basketball and connect with others in a fun and inclusive day celebrating the meaning of NAIDOC through basketball. Skills sessions for young first timers and a 3×3 basketball tournament for all. All skill levels and abilities are welcome.
There are skills session for five- to ten-year-olds followed by game play for all other age groups.
You can expect 3X3 basketball games, shooting competitions, prizes, free haircuts and braids, a variety of off-court activities, a DJ with music all day, a free feed and refreshments.
