The Historic Mirrool Hotel, constructed between 1913 and 1916 and opened in 1917, is situated 47 kilometres south of West Wyalong and 90 kilometres north of Narrandera on the Newell Highway.
The hotel features four accommodation rooms, eight powered caravan/camping sites with showers, a clean toilet block, a children’s play area, barbecue facilities, and is renowned for its excellent meals.
Mirrool is also famous for the annual Mirrool Silo Kick. Held on the second Saturday in October, this event sees football players, celebrities, and farmers gather to attempt to kick a football over the Mirrool grain silos in a bid to win.
