The Merino Brewery in Narellan pays homage to the region’s rich legacy, dating back to 1797 when Merino sheep were first introduced,subsequently to the Macarthur area. Laying the foundation for Australia’s wool industry.
Now, Lee Evans and Mark Palmer, both with military backgrounds, are on a mission to make Macarthur just as famous for its beer. Their friendship, sparked over pints at a local pub, led to the creation of this brewery, which operates on a thousand-liter system to produce quality brews. With a fantastic selection of locally crafted beers, live entertainment and a rotating lineup of food trucks, it’s the perfect spot for a fun night out with friends.
