Iron Gate Estate is a boutique, award-winning winery in Pokolbin, producing unique, handcrafted wines from estate-grown fruit that capture the true essence of the Hunter Valley. Iron Gate also makes exciting wines from select parcels of fruit grown in premium viticultural areas of NSW to complement the range.

Iron Gate Estate is one of the Hunter’s finest boutique wineries. The air-conditioned cellar door is a refuge from the summer sun and a warm welcome on a winter’s day. Enjoy a tasting of their range of wines under Spanish roof and floor tiles and iron-bark beams, which exude the ambiance of southern Spain.

The tasting room features a welcoming fireplace, hand-painted tiled tasting bar, and an outdoor tasting area with gentle fountains and views to the vines. There are few wineries in the Hunter where you can see all of the vines on which the wine you are tasting has been grown.

The winery is nothing less than state of the art, with the very latest technology in wine making and is designed to enable small parcels of selected grapes to be crafted individually to provide the highest possible quality.
