Whether you’re a beer connoisseur or simply looking to unwind with friends, Batch Brewing Company Marrickville is the perfect place to enjoy unique beers and a vibrant atmosphere.
Started in 2013, Batch is one of the original Inner West craft breweries and still one of the best. Driven by their local ethos of ‘We Brew For You’, it’s played a key role in Sydney’s indie brewery boom and given us iconic beers like their Marrickville Pale Ale, Trippy Hippy IPA and Elsie the Milk Stout.
Located in a prime spot just two minute’s walk from Sydenham train/metro station, Batch is often the first stop for many on the famous Inner West Ale Trail. Inside, the venue is a laid-back, loungey affair with long tables, cosy couches and local art adorning the walls.
Out back you can’t miss their bustling brewery while out front there’s a food truck, ensuring you’ll never go hungry (it’s there Wednesday to Sunday – you can order food on the other days).
Walk-ins are welcome, but it’s recommended to make a booking for the weekend as it tends to get quite busy!
