The Grain Store is a specialised restaurant that is focused on showcasing the best independent beer Australia has to offer on 21 taps.
Located in Newcastle’s Historic East End within an old Grain warehouse it is the perfect site for this beer-focused restaurant. It oozes character and style, and its walls tell a story back to its past origins of what was originally a Grain Store built way back in 1885.
The food menu has taken inspiration from the classic American Diner with their own quirky twist, some say they produce the best wings outside of America.
Launched back in 2013 as Newcastle’s very first Beer Focused venue. They take pride in featuring local independent products in all aspects of their food and beverage operations.
Grain Store is Australia’s current Number One Beer Venue via the Beer and Brewer Magazine Annual Awards.
Additionally, they have multiple times topped the online poll in the Australian Craft Beer Poll curated by Beer Cartel for the NSW Best Beer venue, the survey had over 25,000 people take part.
