Bangalow is located southwest of Byron Bay and has an historic 19th century streetscape. Its tall veranda-clad buildings are home to shops selling home wares, antiques, books and art. The village also has a variety of cafes and restaurants.
The Bangalow Community Market, held on the fourth Sunday of each month, is a showcase of local produce including fruit, vegetables, bread, jams, clothes, jewellery, skin care products, plants, crafts and artwork.
Visit the annual Billycart Derby in May or the Bangalow Show in November with animals, contests and fireworks.
