The town of Carrowbrook is a picturesque 30 minute drive from Singleton and home to Lake St Clair. The lake is nestled among the Hunter Valley hills at the foot of the Mount Royal Range. It provides Singleton with its water supply and offers many water sports such as water skiing, boating, swimming and fishing. Recreational sport fishing is popular for its bass, perch and catfish.
