Dorroughby is located in the heart of the Northern Rivers hinterland, a scenic 25 minute drive from Lismore, 20 minutes from The Channon village, 30 minutes from Bangalow, and 45 minutes from Byron Bay.
Dorroughby sits on the edge of Nightcap National Park and is home of the Dorroughby Environment Education Centre. The centre supports the teaching of environmental education in the area, in particular primary, secondary and tertiary institutions, government agencies and community groups.
